It’s been at the forefront of a great deal of controversy although, nevertheless, there’s no shortage of practitioners active today who value the potential of conversational hypnosis. Often used to help treat mental, emotional, and physical ailments to say nothing of an effective means of communication, this kind of “mind control” uses the subject’s unconscious mind to get them to do what you desire. In this way its uses range between the hilarious stunts found on TV shows or in frat parties and strong treatment for mental disorder or nicotine addiction. We do accept that what you’ve heard could disturb you, but the experts know precisely what to do and cause few if any issues. As is the case with the vast majority of hypnotic schema, the aim of black ops hypnosis is the creation of trance in your subject, and Underground Hypnosis will help you do exactly that. How deep the person descends in trance is dependent upon factors including their hypnotist’s ability, emotional status, and personality. The lightest touch of trance occurs when they begin to release the tension in their minor muscles. As the eyelids feel heavier than ever, they’ll experience lethargy, wanting to nod off. You’ll watch hands unclench and shoulders slump as this pleasant relaxation spreads throughout them with curious speed. With a little more work, the person being hypnotized falls deep enough into the trance state that he or she only hears and sees whoever has hypnotized them. Following this, the subject will react to the power of suggestion and ruled by their subconscious. Once you take your subject further into trance, you’ll find a point where they are able to ignore pain, and discard physical sensation, even lock away memories.
Hallucinations gradually appear the farther the subject descends into their trance state, and eventually the subject will arrive at a state like that found in anesthesia. Actually, when anesthesia seems unwise, hypnosis has frequently been looked at to serve the same role.
The Underground Hypnosis system doesn’t go to that depth; however, it hardly needs to. For most purposes, the initial degrees we covered are all you need.
Time now to point out that this knowledge can be taught to anybody registering for Underground Hypnosis. All it needs is a few hours of your time and a modest amount of practice, and after a little while, you’ll be persuading your subjects to follow your guidelines. Why be worried? Get in touch and learn.

Me and my family never imagined the incredible Colleen Dreskell, my high school BFF, could ever accessorize with lace wigs. Her terrific long black hair flowed in sync with her attitude. Get this. Our favorite gal is still celebrated because of her trademark toss ‘n turn. Very few can tell she wears lace front wigs. They work well.
When we were kids growing up in high school, we always knocked ‘em dead. Then her women’s hair loss kicked in and she became nearly bald. I hinted about these human hair wigs. Even so balding was no big deal to her. The incredible woman took the time and fully owned her threadbare confidence.
At our university’s golf competition, we ate nuts till a numbskull clumsily flung the puck (or whatever you call it) into the bleachers. Such a sport, she jumped up for it when her head scarf jumped from her head, unveiling her bald head. As though nothing were amiss, she hurled the thing with a tremendous heave to the game official. That’s so her!
However, there’s two sides to every coin. Not too long after she invited me over for a game of bridge, the day she very sincerely told me that she opts to go bald out of bitterness. She missed her natural hair too much to spend money on well crafted lace front wigs, though she knew it was a good idea. She then the punk became beet pink in the face and begged that I can’t mention it again. I had to oblige.
I thought about it all night. Later on, I called about getting her a new wig. Finally we both came to an agreement: lace front wigs for all! So I’m getting one too!
Not sure who was more bewildered by the fashionable styles. We never knew that wigs are so confidence inspiring for so many women. These lace wigs were exactly what she needed. I coordinated a delightfully new ensemble around our wigs. Its become an inside joke, if you haven’t heard. The other day she gave me a photo of us in our wigs and thanked me for her human hand-crafted human hair wig, and confessed it rekindles new vibrancy for many occasions. It’s my pleasure to witness little miss attitude float about as light as a feather. And she’s still got the attitude.

Shopping for human hair wigs on the Internet may not be anything to dread. Listen to me, I’m a classy woman making the best of god-given hair loss. I hold pride because I’m known (only by a few - hehe) to regularly and naturally enhance my look with a couple fantastic medical wigs from my collection. I’ve got a hunch it won’t take long to discover your hidden joy in the comfort and style well-made human hair wigs. They do wonders for millions of celebrities who appreciate them.
Maybe a lot of you have held similar concerns looking in the mirror. “Can it match my hairline?” right there with “Will my scalp breathe underneath it?” were my most important concerns, without a doubt. These fears are valid should you take a deep breath so you can understand how many fabulous fitting possibilities are available. Womens wigs with actual hair, give ladies around the world with confidence. There’s nothing to worry on! People never marvel at a well done wig. Simply ’cause most can’t distinguish the right wig apart from someone’s naturally growing hair.
Take a look at the essential wig shopping basics you may know. It’s no contest the most realisitc wigs are made from human hair. Wigs styled from human hair are roughly three times more valuable compared to the others with good reason. They are tremendously more valued by their wearers! I strongly endorse them. However, given cash restraints, synthetic hair can be a good option and worthy of your confidence.
Personally, I like real, human lace front wigs due to a couple different traits. They won’t be damaged by heat like synthetics and you can dye them. Oh yeah, and they don’t itch my shoulders.
Whichever you choose, do some research to select a wig that does your image justice, so you can enjoy it confidently! Feel better about your appearance, and even better, be comfortable wearing it. Just like in any fashion decision, your choice of wig reflects your unique humanity.
All the best,
Rebecca Smart

The natural cycle of life is to grow and move forward but moving forward brings with it an element of the unknown. It is human nature to fear the unknown. Often it is difficult for people to take the steps required to move forward because of that fear. Deep down inside, they may know that much needed changes are required in order for improvement to take place in their life circumstances yet they find themselves unable to let go of the familiar comfort of the past.
This is a common reaction. This fear of change exists in all areas of life. We are creatures of habit and these habits become rooted in the very fiber of our being. We become comfortable with our lives the way they are even if we are not happy with the way they are. We tend to talk about how we want our circumstances to change for the better but all too often we let opportunities pass by because we fear the change that accompanies such opportunities.
A person who overeats may be fully aware that he or she needs a change of diet otherwise health problems will result yet there is a comfort zone that can be found in the eating patterns. An individual who smokes is convinced of a calm that is only illusory. Often, someone will remain in a job where they are unhappy and under-paid. Even though the individual knows he or she has the potential to do and be so much more, fear blocks the path for progression.
But fear is not the only obstacle that stands in the way of forward motion. We may want to make changes in our lives and know very well that we need to change certain circumstances yet we cannot do so due to factors that are not always within our control. Financial constraints can be one such factor in the lives of many that forestall necessary progression.
For example, we may finally be offered our dream job in another area far from where we currently reside. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity. We don’t want to pass up such a great chance but we don’t have the funds it would take to relocate our family across the country. So we consign ourselves to remaining in the same circumstances.
Moving forward is not always as easy as it sounds regardless of how much the change may be needed or desired. We can’t always take a giant leap but we can take small steps toward that giant leap. In other words, it doesn’t hurt to plan. Of course, we’re all aware that plans don’t always work out as intended and it certainly isn’t easy to plan for unexpected opportunities but preparation for long term goals is a worthy pursuit.
How does one go about setting up such a plan? Start with your goals. Write out a plan detailing ways in which you can work toward the achievement of your long term goals. Consider opening a special savings account to help finance your goals. Saving money these days is a great accomplishment in itself but start small and then work up to increasing your savings. Toss your change in a jar every time you come home from the grocery store, restaurant or other outing, then wrap it and deposit it in your new savings account before you get a chance to spend it. You won’t get rich overnight but in time you’ll find that every little bit does add up.
By following a plan, at least we are working toward achieving our goals one step at a time. We never know when an opportunity may present itself. One thing that we often don’t realize is that in order for our circumstances to improve, we may have to make sacrifices. Improvement often necessitates stepping out of our comfort zone. We may have to move away from our friends and family. We may have to uproot our children while they go kicking and screaming all the way, about new friends and new schools.
A change of attitude may be all that’s required in order for us to move forward. Many times our own fear of success will hold us back and prevent us from seizing opportunities that arise. Yes, it may sound silly but there are people who fear success. Actually, it is more so the changes that would be brought about if one were to become successful. Lack of confidence in one’s ability can actually cripple a person to the point where he or she won’t even try to accomplish that which one so desires. Fear of failure - fear of embarrassment can become a form of emotional paralysis.
Facing our fears is one way to overcome them. As most of us have found, when we do so, we usually learn that the fear itself was worse than what we were afraid of. If you have goals that you want to achieve and/or changes in your life circumstances that you know need to be made, then take the bull by the horns and put that forward motion in gear.
No, it’s not going to be easy. Is anything ever easy?! No, it’s not going to happen overnight but if we’re not willing to start somewhere, it may never happen. Let’s go for our goals; live life to the fullest. Take charge of ourselves and our lives.

Firstly I would like to discuss the difference between attention and retention. Many in the past have deemed that attention is requisite to acquiring information. For without attention a profound impression cannot be made.
In the medium of retention there is an objective at the outset. That motive is to retain information. In the realm of attention that purpose may not be present but that does not mean that you are being inattentive. Let’s look at the denotation of the word attention. “Concentration of the mental powers upon an object; a close or careful observing or listening. The ability or power to concentrate mentally. Observant consideration; notice:”
Now if we look at concentration we get the following.
“The act or process of concentrating, especially the fixing of close, undivided attention. The condition of being concentrated. Something that has been concentrated. Chemistry. The amount of a specified substance in a unit amount of another substance.” Then concentrated would mean this. “To direct or draw toward a common center; focus. Then focus means to close or narrow attention; concentration.” By now you may be seeing something interesting here. That is, many words are cross referencing themselves
So attention is far broader than either concentration or focus. Attention if it has a motive will narrow down to its specific purpose. Therefore it becomes focus, or concentration or the acquisition of information known as retention. Attention is far more significant than any of the above.
Attention is observation and listening without specific aim but for the joy of exploring. Attention encompasses concentration, retention and focus yet it is not limited by any of them. This broadens the mind and goes beyond the ties of conditioning.
The principal difficulty in all this lies in the fact of understanding, which requires some active earnest thinking, and the majority of people are too lazy to indulge in such mental activity, yet without exercising this, I am not sure if you will ever live life to its fullest extent..

Vivation is the skill of happiness. Vivation brings breath and focused awareness together to empower you to heal yourself on many levels. Vivation enables you to produce superior outcomes by removing negative factors from your own subconscious. Yet Vivation works at the feeling level. Vivation is not a mental process. Specifically, Vivation causes integration. Integration means experiencing a feeling honestly and embracing it fully. Integration is the opposite of suppression. When you hide from a feeling or try to make it go away, you are suppressing it. When you face the feeling squarely and accept it, you are integrating it. Integration is physical as well as mental. Each emotion is made of energy, and the energy it contains is held away, as a separate entity, until you integrate it. Once you integrate the emotion, its energy merges back into your overall aliveness. In the same moment, you gain the lesson the emotion has for you.
The breathing we use in Vivation is called Circular Breathing. It is continuous, without pauses. The inhale is intentional and the exhale is relaxed. Circular Breathing creates waves of energy in your body that you can readily feel. The waves of energy massage and caress you from the inside. Simultaneously, the waves carry valuable information to you from your subconscious.
Vivation is more than Circular Breathing. When you learn Vivation you learn how to create the physical energy of unconditional love within yourself. As feelings and emotions arise during the process, you feel them in detail and give them your unconditional love. The unconditional love, even more than the breathing itself, creates the results.
At first you learn Vivation from a trained teacher, your Vivation Professional. With just a few lessons you can learn to give yourself complete Vivation sessions whenever and wherever you wish. Each Vivation session gives you profound insights into yourself and deep healing of energy blockages and emotional scars. When you complete your session, you feel refreshed, revitalized and renewed.
You can also do Vivation during other activities. This is called Vivation in Action. Vivation in Action enables you to be more present with whatever is going on, less emotionally reactive, and more centered and creative. When you do Vivation in Action in the presence of other people, no one will detect that you are doing anything unusual. They will just think you are a particularly alert, yet relaxed, individual.
Since I developed Vivation in 1979, I have personally facilitated more than 45,000 Vivation sessions in twenty-one countries. Including all the clients of all my students, more than 100,000 people have learned to do Vivation for themselves worldwide. I have therefore had ample opportunity to observe the results people get from doing Vivation. Obviously different people have different situations in their lives. Therefore the results people get from doing Vivation are as varied as people themselves. However, I have observed certain consistent benefits obtained by nearly everyone who learns Vivation. These are some of the ways you can use Vivation:
Use Vivation to reduce stress. Vivation is the stress reduction technique so effective that the stress never comes back! Integration of emotions is permanent. Vivation uses breathing to make a connection between your suppressed emotions and your spiritual essence. It relaxes you and renews you physically at the same time that it eliminates worry and negativity.
Use Vivation to solve personal problems. You can use Vivation to solve long-standing emotional problems and patterns of unwanted results. With Vivation, you solve your own problems within the privacy of your own being, without obsessing about the past or future. During Vivation you focus on the feelings in your body, which means you bring your full attention to the present moment. By feeling the present moment in detail, you can explore the entire life experience of your energy body. And only within the present moment can you give love to your injured feelings in the way that is effective at healing them forever. During your Vivation session, your Vivation Professional does not give you psychological counseling or make any attempt to produce your results for you. Instead you produce your own results and develop your own clarity and insights.
Use Vivation to deal effectively with grief, depression or turmoil. Everyone experiences difficult emotions, or even depression, at one time or another. Vivation helps immediately by generating pleasurable energy within your body. This makes it much easier for you to integrate depression or any other feelings you might be experiencing. Vivation allows you to experience your feelings honestly, without being traumatized by them. Love heals everything.
Use Vivation to improve your breathing. Most people are not very good breathers. Circular Breathing not only harmonizes the energy in your body immediately, but is also the best way to breathe all the time. Circular Breathing is relaxed and does not produce hyperventilation. What it does do is open the energy channels of your body. The bliss you feel during Vivation is a result of your spiritual energy flowing freely. Suppression of emotions requires inhibition of breathing. Every time you integrate a feeling, your breathing improves automatically.
Use Vivation to improve your relationships. In relationships people have trouble when they don’t accept each other as they are. Unresolved emotions from childhood and later stages of life can often be projected onto other people. Vivation eliminates old patterns of negativity and makes it possible to see people (including oneself) as the magnificent beings they really are. Vivation will make you more loving while at the same time helping you to acknowledge problems with people while the problems are still subtle. As a result, all your relationships, with everyone, improve dramatically.
Use Vivation to develop your spirituality. Everyone needs spiritual renewal. Vivation enables you to experience your own divine spirit directly, without belief systems. Every Vivation session gives you clarity. This is because your feeling awareness is more connected to your spirit than your thinking mind is. Your spirit reliably knows what’s best for you. Vivation resolves your emotions and enables you to feel the will of your spirit.
Use Vivation to feel better fast. Whenever you’re feeling bad, for any reason emotional or physical, you can use Vivation to feel better fast. Vivation enables you to make peace with everything you feel. Integrating a feeling causes appropriate change to take place in your mind, body and energy. You can integrate anger, fatigue, headache, body aches, agitation, and even grief and depression. While complete resolution of any of these conditions might require a complete session, even the first few minutes of Vivation make you feel significantly better. Just as important, Vivation also improves your perspective about what has been bothering you. In addition to improving your emotional state, Vivation is also an effective method for coping with physical pain, whether acute or chronic. And it’s all natural!
Use Vivation to break bad habits and addictions. Bad habits and compulsive patterns of behavior exist for the purpose of suppressing emotions. Integrating the suppressed feelings eliminates the perceived need to engage in the suppressive behavior. Often, bad habits drop away spontaneously as a result of Vivation. With particularly troublesome habitual behaviors, make Vivation a key part of your program of behavior modification. Vivation has been shown to be effective in helping people in recovery from addictions. It works well in conjunction with Twelve-Step Programs, such as Alcoholics Anonymous. Vivation helps in recovery by freeing people from the past, increasing motivation through enthusiasm, and developing emotional resourcefulness to find new solutions to old problems. It also shows you how to feel incredibly good without resorting to the addictive behavior.
Use Vivation to cause creative breakthrough. Vivation increases your creativity by reducing the barrier between your subconscious creative process (from which your dreams originate) and your conscious will. It focuses your creativity on solving your problems appropriately. All creative breakthrough comes about through shifting your attention from what isn’t there to what is there. That is exactly what integration is! Every integration you achieve through Vivation gives you a creative breakthrough. Most important, with Vivation you cause creative breakthrough at the feeling level, thus bypassing the mental inflexibility that made it difficult to solve the problem in the first place.
Use Vivation to achieve your goals. Fulfilling your heart-felt desires is the most natural thing in the world. Unfortunately, people create unnecessary difficulties for themselves by suppressing emotions. The suppression itself consumes time and energy, and then the suppressed emotion creates problems by influencing your behavior inappropriately from the unconscious level. Vivation makes your goals clearer to you, because in the integrated state you feel the guidance of your spirit. It clears the emotional blockage that can create struggle and self-sabotage. Vivation makes it easy to take appropriate action with enthusiasm.
Use Vivation to raise your self-esteem. You have self-esteem to the extent that you love yourself unconditionally. Shame and guilt rob you of self-esteem. Vivation resolves shame and guilt gently, thoroughly and permanently. It does not matter where the shame or guilt came from in the first place. When you give unconditional love to your troubled feelings, they heal themselves spontaneously. Through Vivation you find peace of mind.
Use Vivation to live your life to its fullest. Vivation enhances your enjoyment of everything. It makes both pleasant and unpleasant experiences better. Vivation brings you into the present moment, where pleasure actually exists. There is always pleasurable energy in your body as long as you are alive. Vivation enhances the flow of this energy and allows you to find pleasure where you wouldn’t find it otherwise. Vivation shifts your awareness to the positive aspect of your experience. It directly increases the flow of love energy in your body and raises your self-esteem. This makes you realize that you deserve the good things in life. Combined with the way Vivation solves your problems and increases your creativity and enthusiasm for achieving goals, Vivation enables you to live a far richer life than you possibly could without it.
The only way you will ever know which benefits of Vivation are most important for you personally is to try it!
Jim Leonard is the originator of the Vivation process. Since 1979 he has conducted more than 45,000 Vivation sessions in 22 countries. Jim has led hundreds of seminars about Vivation and practical applications of creativity for the public and for companies. He has trained hundreds of people to have a successful career as a Vivation Professional.

Though his racing speed is a maximum 6 feet per minute, the sloth has won the race against time. It’s not that he’s immortal, it’s just that he’s efficient. While we micro manage time and monopolize our schedule, sloth simply is. In his just being he shows us the value of natural pace.
We don’t value this, certainly. Sloth is the only animal eponymous for a deadly sin. I do not know if sloth can translate our disdain. I do know that we are deaf to him. Sloth shows us a way to live that is gentle, creative, and ecologically friendly. And slow. We don’t like slow. We hear engines and sirens. Silence is mute.
We have many tired ways of looking at sloth, both as a creature and a philosophy. As a creature we define him very narrowly. This started a millenium ago. The word sloth began as Middle English for “slowthe” which means slow. Only 200 years passed and by the end of the 1300’s slothful became synonymous with lazy and unproductive. Ha!
The Illusion of Inactivity
If sloth seems unproductive, it is only because the human concept of productivity is inconsistent with nature. Sloth is very productive. However, he moves at the speed of earth. This is rarely in step with our footprints. We hate the natural pace. We turn carpenters into factory workers and spin artists into obsolescence. We are the industrial revolution and our wheels are spinning faster than we can run.
As most of humankind keep pace with an arbitrary hierarchy all of nature waves an invisible banner. Translated it says no. Bold letters. The spider continues to weave its singular web, and unless aided, flowers will not grow faster. All of earth reveals that some things survive and grow stronger by moving at a (gasp) natural pace.
Including sloth. He sleeps lots, enjoys food, and refuses to exert any effort that isn’t necessary. If a human did this we’d encourage them to get more pep. It doesn’t matter if our excess energy is excessive. It doesn’t matter if by spinning our wheels we erode the soil. In the culture of progress and process, runoff is unavoidable.
Not for sloth. He is a model of efficiency. His lack of muscle means he requires few calories. Unlike us sloth expends only what he consumes. Imagine if we were to do this. Living beyond our means is universally destructive. Besides producing economic debt, it produces a fear-based scarcity mentality that our accumulating never satisfies.
Giving with Grace
In his slothful sloth way sloth never takes. Whatever he uses he replenishes. The food waste he creates is used as sustenance for the community of beetles, moths and ticks that reside on his rear. His stillness also creates a haven for algae and a sanctuary for bugs to grow. The sloth is, literally, a non-rolling stone that does indeed gather moss. Still our human cliches and biological calculations cannot measure the worth of symbiosis. In measuring worth we must define worth. Nature has no need for this.
The sloth dominates nothing. He is still and sustainable. He takes little, which is a key feature in creation. The more we non-sloth’s produce the more we consume. We are greedy wolves in designer sheep clothing. We look admirable as we sweat toward the finish line of consumerism yet the line is a mirage. The faster we move the further it gets because our expectations are endless and increasing. Everything is a means to an end. We have no time to nurture natural systems. Somewhere between fire being used for warmth and fire as a part of combustion, we’ve adapted toward destruction. In the process gardening became Clearcutting. Meanwhile the sloth’s home tree thunders to the ground with sloth attached. If human, he would have the opportunity to extend his hands over head as the universal symbol of surrender. No chance. The noise of machinery is the battle cry of industrial values. Money from lumber precedes intrinsic value. Unfortunately, unless captured and sold for food the sloth is worthless.
Appreciating Sloth
Thankfully some still see the importance of sloth. I do. So do the members of The Sloth Club. One of their current objectives is to establish and coordinate a sloth sanctuary in Ecuador. Ecuador is a significant location for The Sloth Club’s three founding members. While travelling through Ecuador, they encountered a captured sloth sitting on the floor of a cold concrete cage. He was waiting to be eaten. To Australian activist Anja Light, his frail helpless body reflected “all the injustice and suffering in the world.” The friends bought and freed the sloth. From this experience they formed a reverent feeling not only for sloth, but also for his very essence. They declare: “We want to promote the concept of doing less, living simply, minimizing our destructive impact and finding joy in our life without consuming an endless chain of meaningless things. The three-toed sloth may be our greatest teacher in how to do this.”
We fear stillness. Stillness is yielding. Knowing ourselves the way we do means we do not have enough trust to, as the sloth does, expose our soft underbelly. Instead we are vigilant. Yet it is not some vague other we need to fear. It is our own self. Our planet is proof that we cannot trust our more is better and faster is God value system. This collective Judeo-Christian movement is made of individuals. We are conditioned to fuel this movement. Not leaving it is the closest we ever come to stillness. No wonder we are afraid.
The sloth despising Judeo-Christian ethic despises inactivity. Yet it also advises rest. We don’t. We fear that the hand of God will rain down wrath if we rest for more than one day a week. We keep this fear because it allows us to keep working towards more. And so it is our self-serving attitude, not God, at fault for our trampling of the planet. Genesis 1:28 advises us to “Be fruitful.” This requires that we sew after reaping. Few of us do. Humankind has become the eighth deadly sin. Ironically, in sloth’s symbiotic and replenishing lifestyle, he is a saint.

Playing Our Part:
Sir Michael Costa was conducting a rehearsal, in which the orchestra was joined in a great chorus. About half way through the session, with the trumpets blaring, drums rolling, and violins singing their rich melody, the Piccolo player muttered to himself, “What good am I doing? I might as well not be playing. Nobody can hear me anyway!” So he placed his instrument to his lips but made no sound. Within moments the conductor cried, “Stop! Stop! Stop! Where is the Piccolo?” Although it’s sometimes hard to see, it’s true that often the smallest and seemingly least important instrument can make the greatest contribution. So it is with our life.
I have worked for the past twenty years advising and assisting people to find their personal and corporate vision. My instrument is the capacity to support others in the journey of discovering vision; vision in life and vision in business!
As a coach, we have an awesome privilege and are in a unique position to play our part. For all of us, our performance isn’t complete until we do our best with what we have. This requires vision!
Defining Vision:
“An informed bridge from the present to the future”
“Seeing the invisible and making it visible”
“Sanctified dreams” -Gerge Barna
“Vision for purpose is a clear mental image of a preferable future”.
Vision is the filter by which all other decisions are made and as such it must be owned, because it will take you beyond anything you have experienced before. Vision can be distinguished within your personal mission or your corporate purpose.
It’s specific and so can’t be all things to all people. If you try to make it so, you usually end up betraying your vision.
As a coach, my primary responsibility is to positively facilitate people through transition. From childhood to adolescence, adolescence to adulthood, from singleness to partnership, unemployment to employment, from sickness to wholeness, from crisis to resolve, failure to success, from poverty onto prosperity.
How can any of us face such daily challenges without a vision of the preferable outcome?
Identifying and prioritizing your vision has to be the best response to self-doubt. It empowers you with it’s purpose and direction - it becomes your compass and your map!
“A person’s visionary capacity will determine the outcome!”
Organisations led by people without a clear mental vision often experience symptoms of frustration within and a slowing down of momentum. They have no compass or map and as such, sometimes attract individuals that are happy to remain lost.
On the other hand, an organisation that has established its core values and vision will actually attract visionaries to it.
The buy in factor for visionaries - people who have force within, compelling forward momentum - goes way beyond natural circumstances and into the realm of values. The value you get out of vision is priceless. The amazing thing about defining and developing vision is that it is never impoverished. It will reward in the end, way beyond your expectations. What value would you put on the potential of vision within your organisation?
Vision is the awakening of our life’s purpose and is the force that compels us forward. It attracts people of similar spirit. It will empower you and overcome obstacles.
It stands for something, rather than falling for anything!
Coaching provides one of the greatest avenues to develop vision, accountability, encouragement and empowering questions, all serve to build strategies for vision.

What do creativity managers do?
Replace the word management with the word optimisation.
That’s what creativity managers do: they optimise the quality of the idea pool (creativity) and the implementation process (innovation).
There are many methods of optimisation and the creativity leader must be aware of all of them, in other words, he or she must synthesise them for optimal effect.
Areas [within creativity] that need managing include motivation, organisational culture, organisational structure, incremental versus radical effects and processes, knowledge mix, group structures, goals, process and valuation.
Areas [within innovation] that need managing include idea selection, development / prototyping and the art of commercialisation.
It is worth noting that 4000 good ideas result in 4 development programs, which in turn results in 1 winner.
Creativity Management techniques
There are many techniques for enhancing creativity output. For example, there are numerous methods of generating novel ideas, numerous methods of generating diverse ideas, numerous methods of generating large numbers of ideas and numerous methods of increasing the frequency of idea generation.
However, it is important to realize that techniques - though there may be thousands of them - are only one element of the creativity management process.
Within the creativity management framework, they fall in the creative thinking versus critical thinking domain.
This is noteworthy as many creativity leaders tend to focus only on techniques whilst ignoring other significant optimization factors. For example, they may spend a whole session discussing De Bono’s Thinking Hats.
All techniques fall into the area of creative thought, which is meant to be daring, uninhibited, free-spirited, imaginative, unpredictable, and revolutionary. The trick is to ignore content and maximise the size and richness of the idea pool.
