Is Poker past Tense?

Gamblers Lair, Have Fun, Online Games

Many of us learned to play poker long ago. We learned to play casual poker online on kitchen tables and school yards. There has been a recent spike to make poker the game of the masses. It has been on the news, online, and on the tip of most people’s tongues. Like most fads, however, this recent infatuation with poker has begun to fade. Is poker a thing of past? I think it may be a bit hasty to think that poker will no longer be played on casinos across the world. They will always be the tried and true fans like you and I that started playing poker online before it was popular. We started playing when it was just a way to pass the time and then ended up getting swept along with the craze. Don’t expect a whole lot of new faces on the casino floor, however. While poker may not completely be a thing of the past, I think we are no longer cutting edge enough to attract the same hordes of players that the poker tables saw just a year ago. It’s time to get back to poker the way we like it, with only our friends at the table.
