Viral Marketing - Your Key to Gaining New Clients

Uncategorized

Email newsletters are an excellent means of promoting the products and services offered on your Website. Adding two simple tools to your newsletter can dramatically increase your readership.

As well as Website promotion, email newsletters are an efficient means of retaining current clients by reaching out and touching them on a regular basis. They can also be very effective in gaining new clients.

By providing pertinent, high-quality information in your newsletter, readers are more likely to forward your email to interested friends and relatives. This phenomenon, called “viral marketing,” is a side benefit of email newsletters. To enjoy viral marketing, always include a link in your newsletter that allows visitors to “Send (it) to a Friend.” The HTML code for this is usually free through your newsletter service provider or offered in your PC newsletter application. As your distribution list grows and your newsletter gets passed along, the odds of striking a chord with a potential customer dramatically increase.

To capture new clients as your email gets circulated, also include a “Subscribe to Newsletter” link within the email. In other words, make it enticing and easy for new newsletter viewers to sign up for future issues.

Viral marketing offers the possibility of geometric growth in the number of your newsletter subscribers as new clients also pass your emails along to their friends and relatives. To make it work for you, just remember to concentrate on providing attention-grabbing, useful information AND make your newsletter simple to forward to new prospects who can easily subscribe themselves.

How’s Your E-mail Etiquette

Uncategorized

In a fast moving global economy, e-mail offers you the convenience of being able to quickly get your message across to your colleagues or clients at any hour of the day or night. The Internet revolution has had the unintended effect of decreasing the use of oral communication and increasing the importance of text - particularly e-mails - as the primary means of business communication. Employees are no longer writing memos to each other; they are sending e-mails.

But are we taking e-mails as seriously as our other business correspondence? Remember, your correspondence says a lot about you, and E-mail etiquette (also called netiquette) not only makes for effective professional communication, but also helps you build a good professional image within your organisation and with clients.

Mind Your Manners

Be conversant with the fact that there are some people who are very sensitive to being addressed by their first names. When in doubt, use Mr., Ms., Sir, Madam or Dr. (if appropriate). When you are replying to an e-mail and the sender of the original message has used his or her first name only, then you could safely assume it’s all right to use that person’s first name as well.

Next, there are three words in the dictionary that are very important to netiquette. People may not notice these words when they’re there, but if you forget to use them, you’ll come across looking disrespectful and ungrateful. These very powerful words are “Please” and “Thank You”.

Don’t Use That Tone With Me

Tone is a difficult thing to explain. Remember when your parents would say “Don’t use that tone of voice with me, young lady (or young man)?” Your feelings come across by the way you say something. It is easy to change your tone when you’re speaking. When you’re writing it’s very hard to do so. Whenever you write an e-mail, you should read your message over several times before you hit send. Make sure that you come across as respectful, friendly, and approachable. And don’t sound curt or demanding. Sometimes just rearranging your paragraphs will help.

If you’re writing to someone you’ve communicated with before, you might want to begin by saying “I hope you are well.” E-mail writers often use emoticons to convey a certain tone. For those of you who don’t know what these are, emoticons are little faces made up by arranging parentheses, colons, and semi-colons. Use good judgement here. If you are writing to someone frequently and share an informal relationship, then emoticons are okay. If you’re writing to a prospective client or your boss, stick to words only. Avoid writing your message using all uppercase letters. It looks like you’re shouting.

And Your Point Would Be…?

When possible, don’t ramble. Be concise and get to your point as quickly as you can. However, don’t leave out necessary details. If providing a lot of background information will help the recipient answer your query, by all means, include it. You may even want to apologize for being so verbose at the beginning of the message.

Plz Don’t Abbrvt.

Never ever use U instead of you, 2 instead of to or too, plz instead of please, and thanx instead of thanks. It’s fine for personal e-mails. Business e-mails should be more formal. Of course, frequently used abbreviations such as Mr. and Ms., FYI (for your information), inc., and etc. are fine.

Spelling Counts… Grammar Too

Use your spell checker. That’s what it’s for. Don’t rely entirely on the spell checker though. If you’re using the wrong spelling for a particular use of a word, i.e. two vs. to vs. too, the spell checker won’t pick it up. A minor typographical error in a lengthy e-mail will generally go unnoticed, but a series of typographical, spelling, and grammatical errors will indicate a lack of professionalism and has the potential to cost you business or maybe even your job.

Use A Descriptive Subject Line

Always use a subject line in your e-mails. Make sure the subject line is brief, but descriptive. Make an effort to keep your subject line to six or fewer words. The subject line is supposed to be brief and summarize the message, and not become the whole e-mail content. You can summarize the action item of e-mail in the subject line e.g., “Tues. meeting canceled.”

Keep Check On Numbers

Be conservative about who you send your e-mails to. Only send it to those who are directly affected by the issue in question. Ask yourself, is this information useful to this person? Is this level of detail appropriate for this person, or should I send them a summary when everyone’s input is gathered and we have come to a conclusion?

Send the e-mail “To” the person or people that you are asking for an answer or action, and be specific about what you are asking of whom. Send a courtesy copy (cc) to those who need to be aware of the request but are not asked to act upon it or respond to it. Double check that you have properly attached documents to avoid sending a second message.

Check messages frequently - at least three times a day. Immediately respond, delete, forward, or save to a folder as appropriate. The more you leave messages sitting in your Inbox, the bigger the chore to gain control again. It is also easy to lose track of an important action item, or message, if you do not keep it organised.

Just like any other type of written message, be aware that it could be forwarded to others or saved indefinitely. Be prudent in what you decide to write in an e-mail.

Include a signature of no more than four lines. Your signature should provide the recipient with a means to contact you other than e-mail, and should mention your designation, company name etc.

For internal communication, it is not necessary to always produce highly organised and precisely worded e-mails. However, etiquette is not totally abandoned in internal communication, particularly when it comes to professional courtesy.

Make A Good First Impression

Though e-mails are less intrusive than a phone call and faster than a letter, first impressions are as important here as any other business communication tool. An e-mail may be your introduction to someone you never met before like a prospective client or new boss or colleague or even a prospective employer. Take your time putting together a well-written message. Once you hit the send button you won’t have another chance.

The Games of Luck Gambling Maniacs Take Part in: Betting Room Games

Better Bets, Gamblers Lair, The Recreation Trail

On the assumption that you haven’t understood gaming hall odds, then read on.

To clarify terms, a betting establishment is a house that focuses on betting. Customers can bet at the coin-operated machines or trying out another pastimes of luck. Gaming room games by and large include absolutely determined probabilities governing them that maintain that the gambling hall preserves an advantage above the gambling buffs.

More often than not, gaming hall games can sway you into getting dependent very rapidly. By way of illustration take the time-honored one-armed bandit, a coin munching gizmo with 3 or more drums that circumvolve when a crank affixed to it is operated. The appliance regularly pays up according to a run of pictures discernible on the information screen of the machine. Sadly, gambling house games tend to convey an apparition of being in control, conning the client - the participant is presented with alternatives, but in reality they will not truly eliminate the gamer’s longterm handicap. This is induced by the gambling saloongambling house never refunding the full sum as hoped for. This method is often noticeable in famous casino games like seven card stud, dice, roulette or blackjack. Five-card stud poker is definitely a highly popular casino game. The gambling buffs, holding either fully or partially concealed cards, place their stakes into a principal pot which is ultimately granted to the winning gamester owning the best set of cards. (And yes, the coolest bluffer may well prevail)

free gambling

Quite like five-card stud, blackjack too is an immensely fashionable casino pastime. Most of its reputation is by virtue of its particular mix of luck and knowledge & choice making, and a system titled “counting”. This is a very sophisticated strategy by which gamers can significantly force the odds of the game in their favor both by wagering and strategic opetations correlating with the hands shown.

Craps is a famous casino game utilizing the throw of a couple of dice. Patrons place bets on the score of 1 spin, or on a string of spins of 2 dice. In contrast to blackjack, there just isn’t any viable winning tactics people could play on to boost the chances.

Roulette is an insanely popular game of luck; a croupier rotates a roulette wheel that contains thirtyseven (in the case of French roulette) or 38 (Vegas roulette) uniquely numbered cells in which a white ball will then come to land, thereby announcing the final winning number as well as its supplemental combinations. Now if the gamer happens to bet money on a number and is successful i.e. it’s their lucky day, the promised profit is going to be 35 to 1, the stake proper is paid back. Thus in total it’s increased by thirty six.

We recommend you try to be very attentive all the same as such gaming hall betting games are decidedly addictive. Too many lives have been spoilt in the course of reckless gambling + much as it feels enjoyable, seek to practise moderation.

Should I Buy a Digital Piano or an Upright Piano?

Music Infos

Should I Buy a Digital Piano or an Upright Piano?

Digital pianos sound nothing like a real piano. Upright pianos take up too much room.
There is a lot of conflicting advice floating around.
I will give you the right piano buying advice so you can make your own decision on whether
the digital piano or the upright piano is right for your needs.

A brief history of the digital piano.
Digital pianos were invented about 20 years ago and when they where first introduced they were pretty terrible, the keys were much too light, spongy and nothing like a real piano. The sound was incredibly bright and the sampling was quite dreadful. You couldn’t really say that it sounded much like a piano at all.
These digital pianos also looked nothing like a real acoustic piano, they had ugly, plastic lookin cases that didn’t match any type of furniture in the room. If guests came around it was almost an embarrassment to have this ugly plastic looking machine in the living room. My how things have changed over the last 20 years!

A brief history of the upright piano.
The upright piano was invented in 1709 by the Italian Cristofori. It was a four octave instrument compared to the seven and a quarter octave instrument of today, with hammers striking the strings just as they do on a modern upright piano. The instrument was invented to meet the need to control dynamics by touch, which could not be achieved on the harpsichord.
The early upright piano went through many changes before it emerged as the instrument we all know today. The Cristofori piano was wing shaped like grand pianos, it had a curved body and a lid that could be elevated. There were also square pianos in which the strings ran from left to right as on the clavichord. And by 1800, there were upright pianos whose strings ran perpendicular to the keyboard. Other names commonly used are: vertical piano or acoustic piano, they mean essentially the same thing.
A typical old fashioned upright piano, tall upright standing, ivory keys, beautiful wood, moulded carvings, stylish legs and brass candlestick holders. The old pianos always had a beautiful warm tone because they were made with quality materials and real wood. The soundboard was seasoned for ages which in turn created a resonant and sustaining tone. The superior quality meant that your piano would easily last a lifetime.

Moving on to modern times
These days your typical starter piano is mass produced in China, Indonesia or Korea with very cheap materials, soundboards made out of trees that were probably knocked down the day before and thrown together as quickly as possible to get distributed around the world.
Well maybe it is not quite as bad as this, but anyway i am sure you get my point.

You can find a list of upright pianos here:

ADVANTAGES & DISADVANTAGES OF ACOUSTIC AND DIGITAL PIANOS

Advantages of Digital Pianos:
1) You can plug in headphones so nobody can hear you play.

2) You can turn the volume up or down.
3) You can record your music on the instrument itself, or to disc, smart media, floppy etc.
4) You can experiment with lots of different instrument sounds
5) Due to their light weight, digital pianos can easily be moved from room to room
6) Your digital piano will never need tuning or maintenance, which will save you a small fortune.
7) You can download songs from the web and play them on your instrument. (Normally the more expensive digital pianos offer this facility).
8) Digital pianos are very reasonably priced for what they are. You can pick one up from as little as £400.
9) Digital pianos take up less space than the acoustic piano. They are slightly shorter in length, much lower in height and most importantly about 2/3rds the depth (front to back) of an acoustic piano, thus saving you valuable space

Disadvantages of Digital Pianos:
1) The value of your piano depreciates very quickly.
2) New models are introduced every 2-3 years making your piano even less valuable and harder to sell
3) The sound is electronic and although improvements have been made, it will never sound like the real thing.
4) The touch is slighter lighter than a real piano and the key balance isn’t perfect.
5) The digital piano’s appearance is not as appealing as an acoustic piano and is made from plastic and chipboard. It can easily get damaged if moved around.
6) The outer casing is difficult and expensive to repair if damage has been done
7) Digital pianos are very expensive to repair if anything goes wrong with the mechanics or electronics
9) The warranty is normally quite short, anything form 1 year to 3 years.

Advantages of Upright Pianos
1) Your piano will hold its value over time and if it is looked after it will normally increase over a longer period (normally 20 years plus)
2) The piano has natural acoustic sounds which is produced by the hammer striking the string and then amplified by the soundboard.
3) The piano is made from wood, sometimes MDF and is very strong.
4) If the piano’s outer casing is damaged it can be repaired easily and fairly cheaply by a French polisher.
5) If there is a problem with the piano mechanically, it can normally be fixed by a piano tuner very quickly and cheaply. (With the exception of old pianos that normally need a lot of work).
6) The touch of a real piano is second to none. The deep, rich natural tones enable you to really enjoy playing music.
7) You normally get a long warranty with acoustic pianos, anywhere from 5-10 years.

Disadvantages of Upright Pianos
1) The upright piano is extremely heavy (can weigh 175kg upwards) and is almost impossible to maneuver without the help of professional piano movers
2) The volume of the piano cannot be turned up or down, it is reliant on the player to control this.
3) The piano needs tuning regularly (normally twice a year) and can cost in the region of £40-£60 a time.
4) The piano will need the occasional maintenance (every 5-10 years)
5) A good, well made piano can be quite expensive (Usually £2500 upwards)
6) Upright pianos take up a lot of room, especially the grands and the taller uprights.
7) They can mark your floor if you try to move them even the slightest bit and because of the immense weight, the wheels or feet leave deep indentations in your floor over a period of time

I hope this article has helped you in your piano buying quest.

Using Blogs for SEO

Search Engines + More

Why Start A Blog?

I knew about blogging and blogs for years before I actually
started my first blog… So this begs the question… “Why
did it take me over 4 years to start my 1st blog?”

Well, why would I want a blog? After all, blogs are just for
geeks, self opinionated left or right wing zealots pushing
some obscure political agenda, teenage school kids waffling
on about their zits and boyfriends or technical journals
full of terms and jargon only a rocket scientist could
understand.

And I never bothered with blogs or the development of the
“blogosphere” again.

Then something changed the way I viewed blogging about July
2004. I was introduced to using a blog as a tool for SEO -
Search Engine Optimization. In the crudest form it was
almost spamming, but done properly, it will get your website
pages spidered almost immediately and indexed in less than a
week.

Blog and Ping

The crude method involved first setting up both a blogger
(.blogspot) blog and a free myYahoo page. You add the RSS or
Atom link from your blog to your myYahoo page, so that your
blog feeds into your myYahoo website.

You then write a page into your blog with links to webpages
that you want Google and Yahoo to find and index. After
posting your new blog entry, you then ping your myYahoo page
to tell it that there’s a new entry at your blog. Then you
go to Yahoo, open your myYahoo page, and the blog headline
should be there.

The assumption is that Yahoo would spider all feeds going
into it’s myYahoo pages and because Google owns Blogger.com
they would spider all new blog entries at Blogger.com …
and in fact this is indeed what happens. Start a blog, add
entry’s to it every day, and in less than a week it will be
spidered as soon almost as you post to it. But you must post
daily.

Simple Algebra

Education, Internet Science Resources, Mathematics Resources

Algebra traces relationships between things that change over time. These variables include things like the relationship between supply of an a product and its price. Mathematics is not an easy subject for almost all students. Many software applications are available with a miscellanea of lesson demonstration so students of whatever intellectual level can find the way that works for him/her. These software titles also serves students to understand utility of Algebra in real life as well as within industry solutions. Wider functions employed in algebra include Graphing linear inequalities, Solving compound inequalities, Solving quadratic inequalities , Adding and Subtracting matrices etc.
Although algebra is an easy to follow course of study, students may face a lot of trouble if they do not practice the basic concepts hard enough. This makes elementary math skills central to help students successfully advance from algebra and march on into advanced math with authority.

How to Succeed in Algebra

The algebra software on offer in the market today offer far more useful guidelines and help than what is included in formal textbooks, such as homework assistance, interactive guidelines, games and a worksheet tool or graphing calculator. The high quality software will have all these features as well as easy usability and coverage of wide area of subjects

The learning tools are always useful for methods like text, audio, animation, video and games are put in to use. All the important topics should also be covered from Pre-Algebra through Algebra II. Important topics normally include: Finding complement of an angle, composition of functions, finding type of polynomial, determine if line is Laws of exponents, subtracting complex expressions, finding equivalent fractions and Solving compound in equalities etc

How to Use Algebra Software

Some algebraic software would only show results, while other (much more suitable for elementary algebra) give away techniques and ‘how-to’ guides on mathematical basics that are in use. Students mostly concern over the ease of use of software Thus, the software better be bundled with value added features like high quality and timely user assistance, integrated help options, and easily laid out math tutorials.

One Great Way To Generate A Lot Of Cold Hard Cash From Your Opt-In Email List

Uncategorized

I bet you want to know what that one great way is! Right?!

Well, I have found that one of the fastest ways to make a lot of money from your opt-in email list is by giving teleseminars. Many people do teleseminars but just to deliver information. (FYI: Teleseminars, telecalls, and teleclinics are all the same thing; the only difference is the name.)

What I’m talking about is doing teleseminars and selling high ticket items. You see, I view teleseminars as just another
media to sell your stuff and other peoples stuff. Just like a regular seminar. Because if you don’t, it’s a disservice to your listeners.

Here is step-by-step exactly how I put on my teleseminars and get 50% or more of the people that pre-registered to join the call. Pretty good compared to the average which is 1/3rd. Follow the steps that I’ve laid out for you and you can get a lot of people on your teleseminar and make tons of money.

These steps have brought in over 250k for me in less than 3 months.

First step, get good at selling your stuff to large groups or find someone that is a great closer and can sell a lot of their own stuff on the phone. If you do look for someone else, you want to find someone that has a high closing ratio on teleseminars. If you want to make more money, sell a higher ticket price.

Second step, create a landing page where people can register for the call and fill-out information. You want to make sure that you ask for their first name, email address and phone number on this page. The best way to capture their information is by using an autoresponder which allows you to automatically send them the pin code, phone number and other call details.

After you have the registration page up and your autoresponder is ready, start crafting your email. You want to make sure that this email only has one outcome and that is for the reader to Sign-up for your telecall.

Send the email out to your list or find other people who will send it to their lists.

People will get your email and sign-up for the telecall giving you their first name, email address and phone number. I have found that you want to send it at least two times to make sure that you get more people signed-up. Remember what’s happening as they sign up, they will automatically get an email from your autoresponder.

The average person that puts on teleseminars will get about 1/3 of the people that registered to the call that night because people forget about it, get diverted, sign-up for another call, or who knows but something may happen and they wont get on the call. Now let’s fix that!

I don’t like being average, I want better than average results and I get them! Here’s how:

30 minutes before the call email the group in your autoresponder that registered for the call and let them know that the call will start in less than 30 minutes along with the PIN code and Phone number again. Also, remember I said to ask for their phone number, well there’s a reason for that… you want to send out a voice broadcast and tell them over the phone that the call starts very soon. If you do this, you won’t find average results, 1/3, you’ll see 50% of the people on the call.

If you have a good sales presentation or a good closer on the call, more people on the call means more money for you. Go out and make it happen. Go try it. Test it out and see the money roll in.

My Trip to Hawaii

Adventure, To Be A Beaut, Traveling

This blog is from our recent trip to Waikiki. Ive got to say, if you ever have the fortune to make it to Oahu, you should absolutely take the opportunity. It has to be one of the most beautiful places in the US. What a blessing it is to have such a remarkable location in our nation.

The hospitality there is dramatic. We took a widsurfing lesson, rode a canoe, watched a few hula shows and even had a chance to try out some genuine Hawaiian food at a luau. They say ono out there, it means delicious. The Kalua Pig is to die for and be sure to stop by for a lava flow drink at Dukes. Its a little spot on Waikiki beach, great for an evening cocktail. One of the most memorable aspects was when we treated ourselves to a massage in Honolulu. It was spectacular, super relaxing and well deserved after a hard years work.

Hawaii is grand. Don’t stress that you won’t do it all, because you can’t. Figure out what is most important to you and concentrate on that. Take time to unwind and enjoy just being there. Needless to say, we will be going back as soon as possible.
